Today I will be calling the people that I was unable to get hold of yesterday, I will also be aiming to set off my first campaign on behalf of one of our clients that is holding an event, meaning it is my role to set up a Mailchimp account to be able to export all his contacts who he is willing to invite, which will then allow me to create a campaign to be sent out to all of them.
This is something I have never done before and I will be focusing on it later this afternoon.
My main focus for today is to finish up confirming guests, we were 2 guests off of being fully booked!!! I felt as though this is a massive achievement for us as we will then be able to book in more one-to-ones after the event to then hopefully convert them into becoming a member of the academy!
I have spent most of my day making phone calls as well as a couple of Boiler calls which is great because I have most of the attendees confirmed apart from 3.
I have began creating the campaign and designing the email that will be sent out to all his clients, I found this abit of a struggle at first as I am not very creative or confident within my own work, but in this case I got on with it with some advice given from Richard.
I also included a link which will then take them straight to the event on Eventbrite where they will be able to purchase tickets for the event.
Although I created the event on Eventbrite and created the mail chimp account I also added Kass in as a user so he will be able to see who is attending and be notified.
It was also my last task today to create an event on Eventbrite for the Farnborough Business expo that is taking place this month!! The aim is to get as many attendees as it’s a great place for networking and gaining business.
Due to making a couple of events previously, this task was not challenging.
I then printed off the guestlist for tomorrow and downloaded the Eventbrite organiser app, which is going to be really useful tomorrow as it allows me to check people in by swiping their name, meaning I have a paper and electronic list of all the attendees.
